The number of shifts showing on the calendar each day is different to the number of entries in the right-hand column beside it - why is this?

The number of shifts showing on the calendar is the total number of shifts published and filled for that particular day. 

The right-hand column gives additional information on the activity per shift. For example, if there is a cancellation, and then a subsequent application for the same shift, this will show as two separate actions.

However, the total activity on each shift is grouped together, and the colour designates the type of activity:

Green – the shift is filled, and you can see the candidate's name

Light blue – the shift remains unfilled and there are no applications

Dark blue – there has been an application for this shift which needs to be reviewed

Red – a candidate that was previously approved for a shift has subsequently cancelled
